Ernest Carlson Obituary
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona has been entrusted with his arrangements.
Ernest was born in Streator on November 10, 1937 to Ernest Gerhardt and Esther (Hallberg) Carlson Sr. He married Evelyn Carls on December 14, 1974. She preceded him in death on February 18, 2010. Ernest worked as a farmer.
Special thanks to Transitions Hospice and McLean County Nursing Home staff.
Survivors are Kelly Carlson (Mike Armes), Keith (Andrea) Carlson; 4 grandkids, Jack, Erik Keira Carlson of San Marcos CA, Brandi Uszcienski of Bloomington, and Samantha Ploense of Bloomington; and mother of his children Donna Onnen.
