KINGSPORT - Faye Morley, 96, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Holston Manor. Faye was born in Bonnie Blue, VA, to the late Charles T. and Bess Middleton. She loved her family and was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, lovingly referred to as "Nanny." Faye worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years. She enjoyed playing tennis well into her 80's, going to the beach, and playing bridge. Faye loved flowers and was a member of the garden club.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Morley; parents; sisters, Charlsie Upchurch and Geraldine Roop.
Survivors include her children, Rita Onkotz, Joel Morley (Ann Marie), and Jeff Morley; grandchildren, Laurie Kinney (Michael), Todd Smith, Summer Holland (Eric), Brandi Morley, Alexander Morley and Rachel Morley; great-grandchildren, Connor Holland and Brantley Hull; siblings, Toby Middleton (Glenis), Frances Long, and Lydia Taft (Jim); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and Holston Manor.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Ryan Shaffer officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery.

Joel and Jeff so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a pistol. She made the best cornbread I ever tasted. I remember her fondly. Hope you both are well.
