KINGSPORT - Frank Hensley, age 72, peacefully passed away Friday, September 1,2023 after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side.
Frank was born in Coeburn, VA He resided in Kingsport, TN, with his loving wife and soulmate, Louise, of 52 years. He loved gardening, woodworking, and morning coffee at Burger King with his wife. One of his greatest joys in life was being a grandpa. He could always make you laugh. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Louise Hensley, and sister Hazel. He is survived by his loving wife Louise Hensley, his 3 sons Frankie Hensley, Tommy Hensley, Ronnie Hensley, and his wife Lorna Hensley; his brothers Wade, Tom, Butch, and Randy; sisters Nellie, Sue, Nancy, Janie, and Sandra; his 7 grandchildren Ireland, Hannah, Cloe, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Colton, and Trevor, and great-grandkids Sawyer, Bindi, and Ahsoka.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

My condolences to you all. I first met papaw Frank at the young age of 8. He was the first man to teach me any kind of woodwork. How to smoke a pipe. And how to make a room full of laughter with all kinds of his jokes. He wasn´t my papaw my blood or marriage but he was a part of my life for a long time. Again I´m so sorry for your alls loss. Frank I´ll miss you rest in peace. Keep an eye on all them babies
