Geraldine Scalf Obituary
October 24, 2024
Geraldine (Geri) Crawford Scalf went to be with her Savior on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the comfort of her home. Geri retired from JP Stevens following 40 years of service and was a faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Nelms Crawford; husband, Dale Scalf; brother, Harold Crawford; and sisters, Mary Ball, Gladys Duncan, and Trula Waycaster.
Geraldine is survived by her brother, Thomas (Gene) Crawford; sister, Joyce McMurray (Fred); and grandsons, Zachary Cook and Zane Cook.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Depew's Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Anthony Gragg officiating. Those attending are asked to assemble at the graveside by 2:45 p.m., Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse, 801 Bamboo Rd., Boone, NC 28607.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Lesia Lawrence, Mildred Stacy, Brandie McDaniel, and her church family.
