Glenn Allen Lowe went to his heavenly home in the early hours of February 23, 2024. Born on June 18, 1940 in Richlands VA, to Powell and Lottie Lowe where he was raised with his six siblings. His strong work ethic started there at an early age by working on their family farm. He later graduated from Richlands High School. After high school, he met his precious wife of almost 60 years, Judy Lowe. They then started a family and had one daughter, Angela Lowe-Gores. They later moved to Kingsport where Glenn began working for Paul Bellamy Furniture for over 45 years. When he was not working, you could find Glenn working in his yard, which he took pride in having the greenest yard in the subdivision, or at a nearby car lot, where the man had a love for trading cars.
Glenn was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him. He looked forward to waxing cars with his granddaughter, Addison, whom the love of cars rubbed off on, or teaching his grandson, Ayden all about yard work. Even in his last few days, he would tell stories about memories at the furniture store, buying cars, or where he wanted his next bushes planted.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Powell and Lottie Lowe; and brothers, Don and Joe Lowe.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; daughter Angie (Dan) Gores; grandchildren, Addison Hale (Chris), and Ayden Hale; siblings, Neil White, Eunice (Jack) Breeding, Phil (Shirley) Lowe, James (Regina) Lowe.
