Harlan Peters August 3, 1923- April 9, 2024
WEBER CITY, VA - Harlan Peters, age 100 of Weber City, VA went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Colonial Funeral Home from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM with Billy Herndon officiating. Interment will follow at Holston View Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post #3, Kingsport, TN and Post #265, Gate City, VA assisted by members of the Virginia Army National Guard Honors Team. Pallbearers will be Mike Wells, Evan Wells, Andrew Wells, Jim Slemp, John Farmer, Jack McDavid, Chuck Wells & Kay Hall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jessie Hall, Chester Shell, Randy Gibson, Danny Willis and Howard Gardner.

Girls, I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Harlan lived a good life & a long life..wow! I know you'll all miss him but he's gone to a better place now where there's no suffering.
