Helen married Marvin Meredith in 1948 and embarked on a life of service to her country as a Navy wife, keeping their home safe while her husband was deployed as a combat medical corpsman in Korea and Vietnam and during numerous missions at sea. They had been married for 73 years. Marvin was the love of her life, and the family is comforted in knowing that they are now reunited for eternity.
Helen was dedicated to children's education and served as Director of First Baptist Church of Mt. Healthy Day Care in Cincinnati, Ohio for over 20 years.
In addition to keeping up with her family, Helen enjoyed visiting the beaches in South Carolina and watching Cincinnati Reds and Bengals games.
Helen was a doting grandmother and took great pleasure in watching her grandchildren grow up. She and her husband Marvin were thrilled with the birth of their only great-grandchild, "Madi," and thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent with her.
