Ilene Gott Obituary
February 14, 2025
KINGSPORT - Ilene Gott, 93, of Kingsport passed away Friday, February 14,2025 and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Ilene was a member of Gravelly Baptist Church.
She was a caretake for many years, she loved sewing, cooking and taking care of her boys.
Ilene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Dexter and Maggie Anderson McInturff; infant Brother, Robert McInturff and two sisters, Mary Dowell and Odell Jones.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Harold Gott; two sons, Gary Gott and wife Kathy and Ronald Gott and wife Susan; grandchildren, Chris Gott, Kevin Lindsey and wife Lisa; great grandchildren, Lauren, Allyson and Isaac; great-great grandchildren, Price and Nixon; one special niece, Karon Simpson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Salley officiating. Terry Bennett will provide the music. The family will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 pm Tuesday.
The family would like to thank the staff of NHC of Johnson City and Caris Hospice for the care of there mother.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gravelly Baptist church.
