Isaac English Obituary
KINGSPORT - Isaac (Jerry) English, 73, of Kingsport, went home to with his Lord and Savior with his family around him. Jerry was born in Kingsport and was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School, class of 1970. He was an employee of City of Kingsport as a dispatcher. Jerry loved talking about his Savior, watching westerns, U.T. football and Atlanta Braves baseball.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Jones English; daughter, Kimberly Jobe and husband Clint; two grandsons, Cody Jobe and wife Ashley, and Dalton Jobe; one granddaughter, Brooke Jobe; one great-grandson, Hunter Jobe; expecting great-granddaughter, Addison; two brothers, Rick English and wife Donna, Jim English and wife, Lisa; two sisters, Rosemary Kitzmiller and husband Richard, Robin Hill and husband Rick; many loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors; best friend and evangelist, Rev. Tommy Browder; and loving pet, Bojangles (BOBO).
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park (formerly East Tennessee Cemetery) with Evangelist Tommy Browder officiating.
Pallbearers will be family.
