Jack French Obituary

Jack Edward French May 23, 1954- May 31, 2024

CHURCH HILL - Jack Edward French, age 70 of Church Hill, went home to be home with the Lord on Friday, May 31, 2024. Jack was born on May 23, 1954, in Kingsport to Jack and Marie French. After retiring, Jack went to work part-time at Scotchman convenience store in Gray, TN, and enjoyed all the people he met.

Jack enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and neighborhood children. He loved swimming, tinkering around with gadgets, working and playing with his pets. Jack's life revolved around his son, Matthew. They loved traveling together and spending time with one another.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Tanda French. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Matthew French; two sisters, Scarlett Willis and husband Ronnie, and Bunny French; and many loving friends.

It was Jack's wish to be cremated with no formal services. To honor Jack's love for animals, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to your local animal shelter.

Carter-Trent Funeral Home Church Hill is serving the French family.
