James Bellamy Obituary

James Robert Bellamy, 84, passed away Dec. 9. 2025, at NHC Healthcare, Dickson, TN after a brief illness.
Jim graduated from Gate City High School, Gate City, VA. After graduation, he went to work at Mead Corporation, Kingsport, TN. He also served in the Virginia National Guard.
Jim is survived by his son, Gregory Bellamy, and wife Linda, Nashville, TN, grandson Sean Bellamy and granddaughter Amy Bellamy, sister Donna Davidson, and sister-in-law Charlotte Bellamy.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by father, Wilruf Bellamy, mother, Lucille Bellamy, and brother, William "Bill" Bellamy.
A Celebration of Life ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026, at First Methodist Church, 119 Grandview Street, Church Hill, TN. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:30 pm, followed by funeral service at 3:30 pm. Burial will be private.
Pastor Heath Davidson will be officiating.
