Jamey Holyoak Obituary

Jamey Eugene Holyoak

March 6, 1975 ~ 2025

Jamey Eugene Holyoak, age 47, of Moab, Utah, went missing on April 15, 2022 and was found September 11, 2025. He was born on March 6, 1975, to Keith and Michelle Holyoak.

From a young age, Jamey loved the outdoors and carried a natural talent for hunting. He was a skilled marksman, often getting his buck on opening morning. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, spending time in the mountains, and had fond memories of riding his horse through the high country.

Jamey shared a special bond with his father, working side by side on projects big and small. Together they built a stock car that Jamey raced as a teenager, winning against grown men and stirring up more than a little frustration among the adults he beat. He carried that same respect for his father's views and faith throughout his life. He loved and cherished his mother deeply, often bragging about her cooking, especially her chicken noodle soup and his favorite, her country-style ribs.

Above all, Jamey will be remembered for his quick wit and his ability to fill a room with laughter. His humor, warmth, and presence were a gift to those who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Brenden Holyoak and Ada Holyoak; his grandchildren, Remington Holyoak and Nevaeh Holyoak; his parents, Keith and Michelle Holyoak; and his siblings, Kathy Randall, Merri Lathrom, and Clint Holyoak. He will also be remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved him dearly.

Jamey's family and friends will miss him deeply but will carry forward the memories of his laughter, his stories, and his love for life.
