James Kevin Fults, 56, of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025. Kevin was born to Ken and Sharon Fults in Kingsport on June 14, 1969. He grew up alongside his sister Gina and attended Sullivan Central High School. He earned his Culinary Arts degree from the Disney Culinary Program before making his home in Knoxville and marrying Jennifer Lawson. They welcomed their daughter Caroline two years later. Kevin honed his culinary craft at Custom Foods of America for the last twenty years. He and Jennifer celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in May

Kevin will forever be known for his easy smile, quick laughter and ever-joyful spirit. His kindness could be felt in every hug, and his presence always offered comfort and calm. Above all, Kevin will be remembered for the unconditional love he showed to those closest to him. Kevin was the happiest when he was with his girls, and even through a courageous battle with cancer, his days were filled with love and laughter. He simply was the best of us.

Kevin is survived by his wife Jennifer, daughter Caroline, parents Ken and Sharon Fults, sister Gina (Todd) Miller, Tim and Carolyn Lawson, Tim and Kelly Lawson, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be announced to the family and friends in the coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The DICK"S Foundation's 75for75 Sports Matter Program or to the family to help with expenses.
