Jamey Peters Obituary
GATE CITY, VA - Jamey Allen Peters, 33, of Gate City, VA, entered into the hands of the Lord, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Jamey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip Peters, Bill and Joan Peters; uncles, Billy, Danny, and Bobby Peters.
Those left to cherish Jamey's memory include his mother, Phyllis Peters; father, James "Jim" Peters; sister, Elizabeth Peters; grandmother, Ruby Cavin; "Dad #2" Mike Horne; "brothers" Dillion Jessie (Courtney), Johnny Sawyer; special nieces, Adrienne and Gracie; "special daughter" Jaylnn Roach; aunts, Rebecca Winegar (Dennis), Suzy Eaton, Elizabeth McGhee; uncles, Michael Peters (Melissa), Stevie Peters (Allison), Larry Peters; many cousins and a multitude of friends.
The family will receive friends from 3 PM to 5 PM on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 5 PM at Gate City United Pentecostal Church, 1553 East Jackson Street, Gate City, VA. Jamey will be laid to rest at the family cemetery in Midway, Virginia.
Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Peters family.

I´m so sorry Phillis about Jamey. He used to weed eat for me and usually He would get Mikes bank and hang out with him for a while and you use to come to my house and pick him up. Me and Jamey ate a lot of sandwiches and drink tea and pop behind my house under a big old shad tree. A lot of times he would say I´ve set here long enough I´d better get this done Mom´s coming to pick me up. I would like to come to his service but I just got out of the Hospital a few days ago and I have an appointment at the Heart Center in Kingsport tomorrow. Jamey´s in the Arm´s Of Jesus Now and I know he wouldn´t want to come back here. If I can be of any help please let me know. Cecil Stallard Again I´m sorry for your loss
