ROGERSVILLE – Jamie Lynn Ward, 52, of Rogersville passed unexpectedly at his home on January 30, 2026.

Jamie loved to go rabbit hunting and watch the Washington Redskins and the University of Tennessee play football, along with watching NASCAR.

Jamie is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Opal and Mack Benton and James Webb, and paternal grandparents, Mary and Joe Ward.

Jamie is survived by his sons, Zachary Ward and wife Callie, and Caleb Ward; daughter, Bailey Ward; granddaughter, Carson Ward; mother and father, Judy and G.W. Ward; sister, and brother-in-law Khristi and Bobby Light; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and longtime girlfriend Melody Seymore.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 5:00PM – 7:00 PM at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Webb and Rev. Dennis Spears officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Benton Family Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 PM to go in procession.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
