Janet Willis Obituary

WEBER CITY, VA - Janet Sue Willis, 86, of Weber City went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Wise County, VA to the late Claude and Norma Taylor. Janet was a member of Salley's Chapel Baptist Church.
She was a devoted Christian, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee "Dodge" Willis; brother, Jimmy Taylor.
Survivors include her son, Steve Willis and wife Barbara; daughter, Susan Carter and husband Scott; grandchildren, Amanda Castle and husband Ron, Ashley Blevins and husband Matt, Kellie Rose and husband Richie; great-grandchildren, Avery and Aidan Blevins, Carter and Dylan Rose; along with a host of friends and family.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Holston View Cemetery with Pastor Dr. Doug Adkins officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Carter, Matt Blevins, Aidan Blevins, Ron Castle, Kellie Rose, and Joe Carter. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse in her memory.
