Mrs. Treadway was my music teacher in elementary school and became my mom's friend when we moved to
Newbern Road near her and Ed. Me and my sisters would babysit for the Treadways when we were teenagers. I also purchased her house on Newbern Rd later in life. Memories of croquet on warm summer nights as my Mom Frankie Clark and Janice played against Ed and my Dad O. G. Clark. Such a true Southern Lady blessed with musical talents and charm. I bless her memory today and always. Love & Prayers Vicky Clark Fields

Janice truly did make music fun! I sang in the Crackerjacks with many wonderful friends. Janice led rehearsals and the performances were so exciting. Janice made all of this possible. Also, we were great teacher friends as we shared ideas and attended workshops together. I miss you, my friend. Love, Sandy Allen and Tom too.
