Jimmy Wayne Daugherty

September 8, 1958 -

January 12, 2025

Jimmy Wayne Daugherty, born September 8, 1958, to Charles Smith Daugherty, and Marie Lawson Daugherty, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 12, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Baby Scotty, Glen, Timothy (BoBo) and Charles (JR).

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Lowell Lawson, Gary Dougherty (Donna), and Scotty Dougherty; sisters, Nancy Collins (Robert), Jane Bishop (Dave), Faye Cleek, and Linda Hammonds (Bill).

The family will receive friends from 11-1p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 1:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Pete Barbor officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Addington Frame Cemetery, Nickelsville, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
