PINEY FLATS - John F. Cullaty, age 77, of Piney Flats, Tennessee, passed away peacefully, on October 20, 2025, after a courageous year battling cancer. John was born on November 1, 1947 in Oakridge, Tennessee. He graduated from ETSU in 1973. He was a Member of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. He served in the Navy from 1970-1972.
He was a long-time resident of Johnson City and Piney Flats. John worked for the local Pizza Hut franchise for many years. He later owned and operated Cal Spas & Pools in Kingsport, Tennessee until his retirement in 2014.
A private family Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
