John Palmer Obituary

I visited with John in January of 2023 during our vacation. Even though I had never met him John and Wilma invited us into their home where john and I spent a few hours swapping Ham Radio stories. I was looking forward to see John again this year, and I'm saddened to learn of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Wilma and his family.

I was deeply saddened to find that my good Ham radio friend Eddie (K4JP) had passed. I hadn't heard him on the air in quite some time, so I thought I'd check his Ham radio web page (QRZ). That's how I found out tonight of his passing. We talked many times for many hours on the air. Even though I never met Eddie in person, I felt as if I knew him quite well from our years of conversations via radio. I never tired of hearing his stories and adventures concerning flying airplanes. As a fellow Military US Air Force Officer, we shared many stories of our adventures in the Military.

I'll miss my old friend and think of him often. John Palmer - K4JP - SK (Silent Key). Rest in peace my friend.

Sorry to hear of Eddie's passing . He was an asset to the Sarasota Emergency Radio Club. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers to his family.

Used to help Eddie do some tower work on holston mountain . On the k4lsp repeater site . Pretty scary over 100 ft up . And 4 Thousand 200 ft above sea level . I learned a lot from Eddie . One of the best persons in the world 73 AE4GL

My prayers are with the family. Eddie was a class act guy. He knew alot about Amateur Radio. He definitely liked and enjoyed the hobby. He will definitely be missed. He would do anything for you.

Eddie was an awesome guy. He was a pleasure to be around.

Eddie was always smiling and had a generous heart. So sad he had to leave us, but we know he is in a better place and no longer is suffering. He was a wonderful cousin and friend and will be deeply missed. Prayers and hugs to Wilma and all the family.
