CHURCH HILL - Johnny Benjamin Peters age 61, of Church Hill, TN formally of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 19, 2025. Johnny was born in Fayetteville, NC to Joe and Janice Peters on June 16, 1964. Johnny was an Army Veteran and worked many years as a carpenter. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Johnny is preceded in death by his father Joe Peters and brothers Joey and Richard Peters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Janice Peters; sister Susan Griffith; 7 children; and 6 grandchildren.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Internment will follow at Peters Family Cemetery in Church Hill with family serving as pallbearers.

Carter-Trent Funeral Home – Kingsport is serving the Peters family.
