Joseph Jeffers Obituary

KINGSPORT - Joseph Michael Jeffers, 59, of Kingsport, TN passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Joseph was the electrical department head at Lowe's for many years. He was a huge basketball fan and the biggest Michael Jordan fan. Joseph was a very happy person, and he enjoyed motorcycles, playing basketball, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kate Morris; grandmother, Kathlene "mom" Jeffers; and his brothers, Gary and Rocky Jeffers.
Those left to cherish Joseph's memory are his wife, Page Jeffers; daughters, Jessica Jeffers and Jessica Slaughter (Matt); son, Quinton Travis; grandchildren, Emma Slaughter, Colton Jeffers, Carter Slaughter, Haddie Slaughter; special mother-in-law, Bobbie Spoden; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; and a special thanks to his best four-legged friend, Rock.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with David Tully officiating.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in Section A at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Matt Slaughter, Carter Slaughter, Aaron Reece, Toney Bradley, Shane Bouton, and Quinton Travis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joseph's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by visiting, www.stjude.org
