Judith Carol Rogers September 26, 1942 - August 22, 2024
KINGSPORT - Judith Carol Rogers, 81, of Kingsport, TN, gained her Heavenly reward on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
Carol was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ for over 40 years, where she was known for her faithfulness and loving spirit. A kindhearted woman who loved people, Carol was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a deep love for her family, friends, and her beloved cats.
Carol was a talented craftswoman, enjoying hobbies such as basket weaving, crocheting, knitting, and macrame. She had a special affection for her flowers and was known for her strong will and determination in all aspects of her life.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Rogers Jr.; her son-in-law, Mike O'Neal; her parents, Arthur Keene and Ocie Fuller; and her siblings, Vic Keene, Harold Keene, Tom Keene, and Jacqueline Davis.
Carol is survived by her loving children, Cindy O'Neal and Scott Rogers (wife, Terri); her grandchildren, Nicole O'Neal, Sarah Owens, Josh O'Neal, Brannan Vanover, Lindsey Welch, Ben Rogers, and Alex Rogers; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ, 479 Gravely Rd., Kingsport, Tennessee, from 6-8 p.m., with a service officiated by Bo Westmoreland to follow. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Depew's Chapel Cemetery at 12 p.m. Pallbearers will be Scott Rogers, Josh O'Neal, Ben Rogers, Alex Rogers, Jared Welch, and Cody Vanover.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to The Church of Jesus Christ in Carol 's memory.
