Judy B. Davenport September 13, 1947 - August 23, 2024

KINGSPORT - Judy B Davenport, age 76, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024 following an extended illness. Judy was a passionate soul, filling the space around her with humor and concern for others. She was a beloved member of her family and community and will be missed greatly by those she left behind. Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Bill Davenport, her parents, William Sr. and Jannie Bledsoe, and her brothers, William Bledsoe Jr. and his wife Opal, Hollie Bledsoe, and Lee Roy Bledsoe and his wife Loretta. Judy is survived by her brother Gene Bledsoe and his wife Tamia, her sister-in-law Faye Bledsoe, her son, Keith Davenport, her daughter Kathy Davenport and her husband Christian Stanciu, and many nieces and nephews. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Elise Stanciu. Judy was a dedicated member of Homeland Baptist Church, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Services for Judy were held at East Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Judy's name to a non-profit hospice organization.
