KINGSPORT - Kelli Jo Dodd Hutson, 55 of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Gayla Sue Fleming Dodd.
She is survived by her daughters, Lily Grace Hutson and Marley Joy Hutson, Kingsport, TN; husband, David Hutson, Kingsport TN; father, Bruce Davidson Dodd, Jr., Atlanta, Georgia; and brother, David Dodd, California.
Kelli was a faithful member of Anchor Church in Kingsport, TN. She was a beloved friend and supporter of Lamplight Theatre, where she had acted in many productions since 2016. Kelli's faith, love and testimony changed many lives, and her legacy will always be a light to her family, her church and the community.
Much gratitude is extended to Russell Marshall for his support during Kelli's extended illness and to the Marshall family for their ongoing care in the days ahead. The family is also grateful for the support of Lamplight Theatre, Tri Cities Dance Company, the Dobyns Bennett High School Drama Hawks and her Anchor Church family.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Lamplight Theatre, 140 Broad Street in Kingsport, TN. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Justin Davidson, Russell Marshall and Evangelist Billy Wayne Arrington officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lamplight Theatre or directly to Russell Marshall to cover funeral expenses and to support Kelli's daughters.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN, is serving the Hutson family.
