Kenley Hunter Davenport, 27, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025, at her home from an Asthma attack, a health issue that she had her entire life.

Kenley was born on February 22, 1998, in Johnson City, TN, and then she gave her heart to the Lord on her dad's birthday, January 11, 2023, at Hillcrest Bible Mission Church. In 2021 Kenley met the love of her life Colton and together they loved to take care of their farm and all their animals, their horses, Roman, Tally and Spring. She loved her Cane Corso's Willow and Roscoe. Kenley and Colton loved spending time together more than anything. Kenley was a loving daughter, sister, girlfriend, granddaughter. She loved her family and friends with all her heart. Kenley had been with Chilis in Kingsport for 7 years and had a wonderful work family and "regulars" whom she loved dearly.

Waiting for Kenley in Heaven was her father, Richard Eugene Davenport; her mamaw, Janice Crawford; and her uncle, Ralph Davenport.

Those left to cherish Kenley's memory are her mama, Michelle Davenport; sisters, Halley Davenport (Billy and son, Cason) and Kalyn Davenport; grandparents, John Wayne Minnich, and Gene and Kathy Davenport; the love of her life, Colton Grills and his family, Arthur, Tammy, Scout and Chelsea and their kids, Walker and Wayne, Shianna and her son Steel; best friends, Jamie Davenport, Cody Housewright, and Hope Street; special family friends, Aaron Silva, and Skip Webber; as well as several dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill. A celebration of Kenley's life will follow in the funeral home chapel. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Kenley's mother's house following the service. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Small Miracles Therapeutic in Kingsport or the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America in Kenley's name.
