Kermit Bolton Obituary
June 17, 2025
MT. CARMEL - Kermit Bolton, 94, of Mt. Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at his home. Born in Greene County, he had resided in Kingsport for most of his life. Kermit had retired from AFG Glass Plant. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Kermit was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Light Bolton; grandson, Lee Johnson; parents, Sam and Audra Bolton; sister, Mary Alice Hensley; four brothers, Ray, Grover Charles, Waylon and Bill Bolton.
Survivors include his two daughters, Connie Jean Dean and husband, Larry, Patty Marlene Johnson and husband, Joe; two sons, Kermit "Bud" Bolton, Mike Bolton; two grandsons, Rob Dean, Josh Bolton; several great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Paul Bolton; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Grove FWB Church Cemetery.
