CHURCH HILL - Kyle Wayne Corder, 83, of Church Hill Tennessee passed away November 16, 2024.

Wayne was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky, and was the son of George Kyle Corder and Ola Riddle Corder. Wayne spent his early years in Coeburn, Virginia, and graduated from Coeburn High School. While in Coeburn, Wayne met Phyllis Greear. Wayne and Phyllis married on June 29, 1961. Wayne worked at Eastman for years and refused to stop working, even after retirement.

In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Burke; and his brothers, Hubert, Marvin, and Mike Corder.

Wayne was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Church Hill. He enjoyed woodworking, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with family. Wayne was very charming and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 63 years, Phyllis Corder; daughter, Lisa Hamilton and husband Scott; son, Steve Corder and wife Cheryl; granddaughter Emily Clark and husband Bradlee; grandson Caleb Hamilton and wife Chelsey; great-granddaughter Annie Clark, and a host of special friends.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mitch Russell officiating. A graveside service will follow in procession to Church Hill Memory Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Corder, Scott Hamilton, Bradlee Clark, Caleb Hamilton, Dennis Crigger, and Mitchell Clark.
