ROGERSVILLE - Leslie Kay Price Bruner, age 55, of Rogersville passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center after battling small cell lung cancer for three years. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Carroll Dean and Betty Lee Trent Price, stepsister Kimberly Hostetter, brothers Curtis Hostetter and Randy McCarthy.
After a life of 40 years together, she is survived by her husband Jimmy Wayne Bruner. Survivors also include daughters Kasey Bruner and fiancé Bryan of Mt. Carmel, Jaime Bocock and fiancé Lance of Erwin, Kristina Bruner and fiancé Adam of Rogersville, grandchildren Jasper Roy, Kimberly Bruner, Damion Belknap, Christian Bocock, Kolby Jones, Brylee and Bradlee Roy, sister Donna Marie Leslie of Mount Airy, MD, brother Michael Price and wife Karen of Rogersville, several nieces and nephews, and a special companion Chester the dog.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 in the Broome Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Fuzz Bradley officiating.
