Lewis Vaughn Obituary

WEBER CITY, VA – Lewis (Pete) Allen Vaughn, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 following a long term illness.

Pete was born on August 17, 1956 in Duffield, VA. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding around with his grandson and sidekick Hunter Moore. He will be truly missed by his fur baby Tapanga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud Vaughn and Ida (Lane) Barnette; brothers, Clarence, Hurman, Claude, Jerry, and Errett; sisters, Sue, Marie and Bobbie.

Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Edna Vaughn; son, Michael Vaughn; sister, Debbie Egan and husband Jay; brother, Leonard Vaughn; step-daughters, Becky (Dwayne) Gobble, Barbara Culbertson and Connie Crawford; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

I'm sorry for your loss Edna and I apologize for not being at the services but I hate funerals and if I don't see its easier to pretend it didn't happen.
