NICKELSVILLE, VA - Lillian Virginia (Jenny) Campbell, 95, Nickelsville, VA entered into rest Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at her residence.
Jenny was born in Scott County, VA on February 17, 1929, to the late Ballard and Lois Sweeney Sluss.
In addition to her parents, her husband, William Campbell, infant son, Earnie Campbell, granddaughters, Nicki Henley and Santana Campbell, several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Burke, Barbara Henley, Janet Hill, Mary Austin, Carolyn (Larry) Lane, Brenda Smith, sons, Doug (Mary) Campbell, Mikey (Donna) Campbell, Johnny Campbell, half-sister, Maxine Castle, 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12-2p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Collins officiating. Roger and David Easterling will provide the music.
Burial will follow the service at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
