Linda Ahrens Obituary

Linda Ahrens, of Hartsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Abington, PA to Joan (nee Marquette) and Willard Meara. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Andrew "A.J.", and her daughters, Aubrie Cunningham (Sean), Nicole Shirley (Brenden) and Shaye DeLuca (Andrew); grandchildren, Koy, Quinn and Callan Cunningham and Saylor Shirley; and her siblings, Joan Meara Graziano and Paul Meara (Barb).
Linda grew up a resident of Roslyn, PA and was a 1978 graduate of Abington High School. Not long after graduating Linda met the love of her life and they married in 1983 in Jamison, PA. For over 14 years, Linda worked as an office manager at Insurance Services Corporation until shifting her focus fully to taking care of her family. Linda's family was her greatest joy.
Full of love, laughter, and strength, Linda touched the lives of all who knew her. After a 25 year battle with breast cancer, she was taken too soon at the young age of 63. Her fighting spirit and courage will live on through those lucky enough to have known her.
Relatives and friends are invited to Linda's Life Celebration on Thursday October 31, 2024 from 10 to 12:00 at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA. A Mass will begin at 12 Noon. Interment will be private at a later date. The Ahrens family has requested donations in Linda's name be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111 or foxchase.org.
