KINGSPORT – Linda Craddock Bombailey, 82, went home to be with the Lord at her home unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
Linda was born on March 24, 1941, in Greene Co., TN to Haskel and Sara Ellen Craddock. Mrs. Bombailey retired in 2003 from J C Penney after 26 years in customer service.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Bombailey; son, David Bombailey; grandson, Jacob Halverson and brother, Paul Craddock.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Denise Halverson and husband, Todd ; granddaughter, Angelia Bombailey ; grandson, Ryan Halverson; great-grandchildren, John David Fazio and Alyssa Fazio. Her loving cat Felix.
A visitation will be held from 12 to 1 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the New Hope Evangelical Church in Kingsport. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday at the church with Rev. Scott Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.

I have many fond childhood memories of Linda and Paul, as we grew up across the street from each other. My condolences to her family; I know she will certainly be missed. She was a very nice person!
