ROGERSVILLE - Linda Almetta Horne, 81, of Rogersville, passed away, Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Ballad Health Hospice House in Bristol, TN after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a member of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Linda was preceded in death by her mother Theda Gladson Caswell.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years Thomas (Tom) Horne, daughter Stephanie Gordon and husband Kenneth of Hendersonville, N.C., son Thomas S. Horne of Rogersville, granddaughter, Leah Schreiber and husband Brett of Hendersonville, N.C., brother Jim Caswell and wife Treina of Rogersville, nephew Jimmy Caswell and niece Misty Caswell, and her son's dog, Cadillac who is considered a member of the family.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Stephen McKinney officiating.
Those attending the graveside service are requested to meet at the cemetery by
1:45 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024.

I work at one of Linda's doctors offices, she was loved dearly and was my Pen pal and friend for years. She always had a smile and would always bring a homemade goodie. That is the kind of sweet woman she was. She will be missed dearly. SA
