KINGSPORT - Linda Gail Ramey, 87, of Kingsport, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Linda was born on November 17, 1937, in Kingsport to the late Claude and Helen Mays.
She was employed as a respiratory therapist until her retirement in 1997.
Linda was a member of Homeland Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Nathan Ramey; daughters, Rhonda Gail Miner and Hope Schaftlein; son, Steven Ray Eastis; and a brother, Claude Swanson Mays Jr.
Left to cherish Linda's memory are her son, Johnny Allen Ramey; sister, Janet Tomlinson; grandchildren, Daniel Miner, Kelsi Faulk (Donald), Victoria Ketron(Alex), Zachary Schaftlein, Noah Schaftlein; one great grandchild, Olivia Ketron; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Everlasting Life with Jim Mullins officiating.
The care of Linda Gail Ramey and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.

Linda became a very treasured friend to many girls who exercised together for many years at the senior center. We enjoyed being together and laughing over lunch. We are so blessed that she was a part of our lives and have so many fond memories to last us a lifetime.
