FALL BRANCH - Lois Lane, 83, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at her home. Born in Elyria, OH, she had resided in Fall Branch for the past 39 years. Lois was a member of First Baptist Church of Fall Branch, and a previous member of Bethel Baptist Church in Elyria, OH. She was the owner of Lane Enterprises, Fall Branch. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed flea marketing, gardening and traveling.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Lane; parents, Charlie and Anna Sprague; two sisters, four brothers; and son-in-law, Tim Skaggs.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Skaggs; sons, Lenny Lane and wife, Lauree, Larry Lane and wife Tonia; eight grandchildren, Kayleigh and husband, Josh, Austin and wife, Julie, Heather and husband, Michael, Andrew and wife, Kayley, Leia and husband, Jose, Luke and wife, Alyssa, Cody and girlfriend, Bethany, and Jamie; five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ava, Olivia, Lennie and Haven; brother, George Sprague and wife, Mary; sisters-in-law, Dianna Sprague, Donna Haefer and husband George; brothers-in-law, Vestal Tucker and wife Lisa, Harry Browning; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Mark Newman officiating. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery.
