SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, SC - Lori Lee Thompson, 66, of Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, wife of Blaine Thompson entered into eternal rest Monday, May 6, 2024. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. Lori was born December 19, 1957 in Westfield, New York, daughter of the late Donald Latimer and the late Janet Mentele Latimer. A high school graduate from Kingsport, TN, Lori also graduated from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville and became a realtor. She then moved to Charleston in 1992. Lori enjoyed historical fiction, writing a published novel called "Prairie Stars" and starting a second. She will be remembered for the way she loved her family. She is survived by her husband, Blaine Thompson of Sullivan's Island, SC; daughter, Claire Thompson (Scott Schiller) of North Charleston, SC; twin sons, David Thompson of Asheville, NC and Nathan Thompson of West Ashley, SC; two sisters, Leesa Peterson (Kris) of Spring Hill, TN and Linda Latimer Greene (Bill) of Gray, TN. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leslie Bilbrey.
