Mack VanAuken Obituary
HARRISBURG, Ark. - Mack "Bud" VanAuken, of Harrisburg, Arkansas, formerly of Auburn, Indiana, departed this life on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at his home, with family by his side.
Bud was the son of Herman "Mack" VanAuken and Ellen Carper VanAuken, both deceased.
Mack married Brenda Kitt on April 30, 1977, sharing almost 49 years together. He and Brenda have five children, David (Dana) VanAuken, Martin (Natalie) VanAuken, Amanda (Jeremy) Neate, Daniel (Sara) VanAuken and Pamela (Ronnie) Lewis. Mack cherished his wife, children, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
After high school Bud became a truck driver, which was his life's career.
He enjoyed fast cars, fishing, bowling, puzzle books, and good jokes. His laugh will never be forgotten!
Along with his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his brother, Robert (Bob) VanAuken. He is survived by his sister, Linda (Tom) VanAuken-Fisher; and brother, Billy (Tisha) VanAuken.
Family is honoring Mack's wishes for cremation and no memorial services.
