Margaret Ann "Peggy" Broadwater July 29, 1930- May 20, 2024
KINGSPORT - Margaret Ann "Peggy" Broadwater, 93, of Crown Cypress, Kingsport, TN, formerly of Nickelsville, VA, passed away, Monday, May 20, 2024, at Crown Cypress.
Margaret was born on July 29, 1930, in Hartwell, WV to the late Willie E. Kilgore, and Nannie Elizabeth Harris Kilgore.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell Broadwater, son Kevin Broadwater, sisters Flora Ethel Lawson and Jenny Mae Pope, brothers Isaac Joe Kilgore and Bill Kilgore.
Surviving is her daughter, Tanya B. Dingus (Doug), sons, Michael H. Broadwater and Kerry Broadwater, Granddaughter, Brandy Hensley (Bill), great grandsons, Kade Hensley and Kellen Hensley, and special niece, Janet Darlene Thrum.
And a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Demotts and staff for his care.
The family will receive friends from 12-2p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2:00p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Eddie Taylor officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at Nickelsville cemetery following the service.
