Marilyn Hale Obituary

WEBER CITY, VA - Marilyn "Marlene" Hale, 69, of Weber City went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She was born in Kingsport to the late Charles and Oneda Duncan. Marlene worked for K-Mart for over 40 years. She enjoyed traveling, photography, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Salley's Chapel Baptist Church in Weber City. Marlene was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Cavin Hale and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Luke, Hunter, Lucy, and Darcy; sister, Linda Akers and husband Woody; along with a host of friends and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor George Winegar officiating.
A graveside service will follow at Holston View Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

I went to school with her I knew she had been in the nursing home with cancer. Always liked her I usually talked to her if I saw her at KMART . And I just read that her son was Calvin Hale I met and worked with him at Exide sure didn´t know she was his mother . Prayers for the family sorry for your loss .
