BIG STONE GAP, VA - Mark A. Bobrosky, 67, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at his home. He was the owner/ operator of M&S Contractors, Big Stone Gap, VA. Mark was a true renaissance man who enjoyed sharing his knowledge with those willing to listen. The talent that he possessed was beyond amazing. If he didn't know how to do it then he would figure it out. He was a perfectionist who didn't believe in half done jobs. His perseverance was truly something to behold. He was made of old school grit and never complained. Mark was a friend to animals, especially cats. He enjoyed the outdoors, and nothing added to his joy more than adding a grill, friends, and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steve J. Bobrosky, Sr.; a sister, Vickie (Bobrosky) Johnson; a sister-in-law, Velma (Hobbs) Bobrosky; and a brother-in-law, John Johnson.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Christy Bush (William), Big Stone Gap; his mother, Mary Kate (Matda) Bobrosky, Big Stone Gap; brother, Steve Bobrosky, .Jr (Cathy), East Stone Gap; sisters, Donna Bal and Cindy Foley (Brad), Big Stone Gap; asister, Melody "Kermie" Bobrosky (who has since passed), Kingsport; his former wife and mother of his daughter, Sarah (Tate) Bobrosky, Big Stone Gap; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 pm Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Fellowship Hall of the First Christian Church located at 640 Wood Ave E, Big Stone Gap, VA. Reverend Bil Hughes will be officiating and music will be provided by Shawn Stone Bentoski. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4 pm before services. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter or animal rescue in Mark's memory. Roy A. Green Funeral Home is serving the Bobroski family. A special thank you to Valley Fire Department and Med Surg/ ICU/Inpatient/PT Units at Norton Community Hospital for their caring and professional care.

The greatest men get to be promoted to the title of Dad. You were the guiding light in my life, and today I'm especially reminded how lucky I was to have you for as long as I did. You loved and provided for your family above all else. You had the kindest and most giving heart. As much as I'm going to miss you here, I'm happy to know you're at peace. -Christy
