Mary Arnold Obituary

CHURCH HILL – Mary Irene Arnold, 94, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Church Hill Healthcare and Rehab.

Mary was born on August 7, 1929, in Hawkins County, TN. She was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County and was a member of McPheeters Bend Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess W. and Delphia Hicks Arnold; sisters, Maude and Lou Arnold; brothers, Charlie, Mack, Clyde, Kyle, Ralph, and Lee; sisters-in-law, Hazel Arnold, Martha Arnold, Joyce Arnold, Mary Kate Arnold, and Georgia Arnold; 5 nieces, 3 nephews, and 1 great-nephew.

Mary is survived by special niece, Connie Smith; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and several cousins.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Dr. Larry Parrott and Rev. Mark Roberts officiating. The burial will follow at McPheeters Bend Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Mowell, Jimmy Arnold, Gerald Arnold, Mack Arnold, Eric Smith, and Brian Ward.
