Michael James DePollo, Sr. October 22, 1949- June 28, 2024
KINGSPORT - Mike DePollo, 74, of Kingsport, went to be with God and to join his loving wife in Heaven on Friday, June 28, 2024. He was born in Elkins, West Virginia on October 22, 1949.

Mike was a member of the Alpha Pi Mu Engineering honorary society. He was enrolled in Army ROTC for 4 years at WVU and was a member of the Army/Air Force Scabbard and Blade honorary society.

Mike was also a huge supporter of Saint Dominic Catholic School, where he consistently helped out in any way that was needed.
Mike enjoyed gardening and fishing, but the most rewarding time to him was when he was with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He will be remembered as a genuinely kind, loving, strong, hardworking, generous person with a huge heart of service, always taking care of others. Mike was an exceptional human being that made the world a better place with his presence.

It is hard to believe that he is now with his beloved wife. We worked together for years. I just saw this and it is too late to be there for visitation. He will be missed. Hugs and prayers to the family
