HILTONS, VA - Michael "Mike" Clayton McConnell, 68 of Hiltons Virginia, went to be with the lord on December 21st, 2022, after an extended illness. Mike was born in England and remained a dual citizen until the age of 18.
Mike was proceeded in death by his loving parents Everett and Jaqueline (McClain) McConnell, his brother-in-law and best friend Mike Henley, his ex-wife Vickie McKinney, along with several Aunts and Uncles.
Mike is survived by his daughter Victoria Matlock and husband Matthew, two granddaughters Heaven and Matthea, his sister Kim Henley and brother Scott McConnell, two nieces Amanda and Jaclyn, and several great nieces and a great nephew.
Mike loved the outdoors, fishing in his pond, camping, and most of all riding his motorcycle. Mike also had a great love of animals, especially dogs. Mike remained close with his family and friends throughout the years. He was most happy when his loved ones were happy, that's the type of man he was.
Mike will be forever missed and never forgotten.
