KINGSPORT - Michelle Lynne Lyall-Hughes, 53, of Kingsport, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ following a brave and courageous battle with cancer Sunday, February 11, 2024, at her home lovingly holding her husband's hand.
Throughout her illness, Michelle never complained and wanted her illness to ultimately glorify God and encourage others.
She was born May 11, 1970, in Kingsport.
Michelle was a "ray of sunshine' who loved everyone.
She was a committed Christian and member of Riverside Baptist Church where she served as the pianist during her earlier years.
Michelle was employed by Holston Medical Group for twenty-six years.
She enjoyed playing the piano, listening to music, journaling, working in her flower beds, and spending time with her cat, Doja.
Michelle was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Lynne Lyall Betley; her grandparents; several aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish Michelle's memory are her husband, John Hughes; parents, Larry and Elaine Lyall; several aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pastor Larry Stallard will officiate. Lindsey Altman will provide the music.
