Nikki Brooks Obituary

KINGSPORT - Nikki Bledsoe Brooks, 75, of Kingsport was surrounded by her loving family when she was called home to the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 16 following a long illness.
She was preceded by her parents Howard and Dorothy (Quillen) Bledsoe; and brothers Michael Bledsoe and David Bledsoe.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years Jerry Brooks; sons Jason (Deneen) Brooks, Trevor (Carmen) Brooks, and Tyler (Ashley) Brooks; grandchildren T.J. (Leslie) Brooks, Becky (Jerry) Floyd, Peyton Brooks, Keirsten Brooks, Raeleigh, Marley Belle Brooks, Josh (Megan) Hicks, Allainah Easterling, Whitney (Korey) Whitley; great-grandchildren Wyatt Brooks, Presley Brooks, James Floyd, Jerry Floyd Jr., Bella Hicks, JR. Hicks, Ryland Morrison, Myla Morrison, Keaton Whitley, Jaycee Whitley, and Maylee Whitley; sisters-in-law Lynn Brooks and Oneta Miles; brother Jeff (Samantha) Bledsoe; and a large host of loving nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
A private family service is scheduled at East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Nikki's honor to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla.

Thankful for 30 years of the greatest nana/mom in the universe, though 30yrs wasn't enough but I'm thankful and blessed I got that many years with you by my side. I'll love you forever today tomorrow and always, I'll miss you more then anything in the universe love you big your baby girl always and forever!

I missed Nikki daily at KTN. The warmth of her smile, her humor, fabulous work ethic and her incredible patience. Nikki cleaned up more than 1 of my messes. "It´s all right Nec. We got it now." lol Like I was actually part of the solution.. Thank you all for sharing her for a while. Good bless you all!
