KINGSPORT - Patsy Jo Kinsler, 88, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 16, 2023.
She was born March 7, 1935, in Hancock County, TN to the late H.P. Kinsler, Sr. and Nettie Stout Kinsler.
Patsy was a feisty, and generous lady who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed walking, listening to Gospel and Blue Grass music, and was proud of her huge record collection.
Patsy was a retired cosmetologist having spent fifty plus years in the industry.
She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and Indian Springs Baptist Church where she a member of the sanctuary choir in her earlier years.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Gilliam, Joyce Willis, Jean Horton, and Nell Beverly; brothers, Don Kinsler, Jack Kinsler, and H.P. Kinsler, Jr.
Those left to cherish Patsy's memory are several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023, in the funeral home chapel.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Dr. Phil Hoskins officiating.
Graveside Service will follow in the Garden of Everlasting Life at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to all of Patsy's friends at Kiwanis Towers for their love and support and also to Church Hill Life Care Center for their compassionate care during recent months.
