KINGSPORT - Peggy Ruth Ferrell Anderson 72, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Kingsport, TN to the late Paul and Lorraine Ferrell. She worked for Kingsport Veterinary Hospital for many years as a Veterinary Assistant. Peggy was a very generous person and a delight to be around. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Wayne Anderson; sister, Faye Crawford.
Survivors include her sister, Patricia Stewart; nephew, Chris Stewart and wife Chrissie; niece, Amy Crawford; special great-niece, Presley Crawford; special friends, Lisa Christian and Jantry Shupe; along with a host of friends and extended family.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Josh Odom officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50pm.
