She and Dave married at North Running Valley Lutheran Church on June 1, 1973. She taught 3rd grade at Barron. After a "break" to be at home with her children, she continued working as an aid for early childhood in Cameron. She then taught 5th and 4th grades in Chetek, retiring in 2009.

Linda was a member of First Lutheran Church, active in elementary Sunday School, children's choir, church council, the WELCA women's group and local community clergy group. She enjoyed rubber stamping, sewing, gardening, cooking and especially her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; son, Paul (Kelly), grandchildren, Sage and Wesley; daughter, Amy (Chad) Allram, grandchildren, Brodie and Faith; brother, Richard (Joey) Hones; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Mathews; brother-in-law, Steve (Karen) Martinson; brother-in-law, Kurt Martinson; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law; and brother-in-law, Butch.
