Peggy Helen Walls, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on January 28, 1940, in Church Hill, Tennessee, Peggy remained a proud Tennessee girl at heart, returning to her roots whenever she could. She lived a life marked by love, kindness, and a deep faith in her Lord and Savior. Peggy was a dedicated homemaker who filled her days with nurturing her family and tending to her garden. She found joy in sewing and taking long walks, and she was known throughout her neighborhood for her sweet gestures, often treating the local dogs to snacks. Those who knew Peggy recognized her as a selfless and giving person. Beneath her tough exterior was a gentle spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her granddaughters, Natalie and Audra, brought light and joy to her life, and family was at the heart of all that she cherished. Peggy's love extended beyond her immediate family; she took in several cats over the years, treating them with the same compassion she showed to everyone around her. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Philip G. Walls, and her sons, Philip Brett Walls and Anthony Craig Walls. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa (Michael) Bauman, her cherished grandchildren, Natalie (Wes) Bauman, Audra Catherine Walls, Kyle (Raelee) Gardner, Casey (Lonnie) Jenkins, Dylan Norton, and Tara Norton, as well as daughter-in-laws Gayle Walls and Michelle Norton Walls, and son-in-law Michael Bauman. She also leaves behind her brother Claude Davis, sister-in-laws Dorothy Davis and Janice Davis, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Robert Davis, Stella Sensabaugh, Bill Davis, Garland Davis, and Lou McClain. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, in Milford, on Tuesday, December 23rd from 6 PM until time of the memorial service beginning at 7 PM. Peggy's remains will be interred at the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Church Hill, Tennessee at a later date. As we remember Peggy, we honor her legacy of love, faith, and generosity. May she rest in eternal peace.
